Our fax setup
We have a Brother FAX-645 setup to send and receive faxes:
In New Zealand, traditional copper line services have all but ceased to exist as the national fibre-to-the-premises rollout has been completed.
We run our fax line through a local VoIP provider using a Cisco ATA device, connected to our fibre internet connection.
Our primary line is +64-6-2424242 with the USA and any other numbers forwarding to this local number.
We also have a FujiXerox DocuCentre photocopier which has a fax modem, but have decided to connect in the old Brother machine as it is a bit more traditional. If we get too busy with fax tests, we could setup both on the VoIP line with the incoming calls routing between the two machines in a round robin fashion.
